Sanding and Resealing of Solid Wooden Flooring and Engineered Wooden Flooring.
Restore your old wooden floor to previous glory. The sand and seal service is a cheap, effective way of getting the most out of a floor.
Sanding your floor with rough, medium and fine sand paper can remove:
- Colour Fading due to light
- Dents
- Height Differences / Slight Rises in the Floor
- Scratches
- Stains
After sanding Cracks and Gaps throughout the floor can be filled using a resin filler. This prevents dirt build up aswell as providing a smoother surface finish.
The Sealing process is where the creativity begins. Whether you would like the floor brighter and lighter or switch it up with one of our staining options.
Our choice of stains is the Fiddes Nitro Stains / Hardwax Oils. With a multitude of colours to choose from, giving your floor it’s own bespoke finish.
Once the floor is stained or the base coat has been applied the final sealing option is a choice of finishing coat. This consists of choosing between 3 finishes Matt, Satin or Gloss
Floor Fitting
Our professional team of fitters are well experienced in fitting a wide range of floors from laminates to reclaimed solid herringbone. Estimated fitting prices can be given in store or over the phone. These prices can include preparation work (lifting existing floor or priming subfloor) and accessories (door trims) necessary for the complete job.
